Frequently Asked Questions
Elevated Concrete Lifting
What services do you offer?
Elevated Concrete Lifting specializes in poly foam concrete leveling. We offer advanced concrete lifting solutions capable of restoring a variety of residential and commercial concrete structures:
What is polyurethane concrete leveling?
Polyurethane concrete leveling, also called polyjacking, poly leveling or poly foam concrete leveling, is a process that lifts and stabilizes uneven concrete by injecting a high-density polyurethane foam underneath. The foam expands, filling voids and lifting the slab back to its original position. It’s a clean, fast, and long-lasting solution.
Sinking concrete goes by many names, but the problem remains the same: uneven surfaces. Elevated Concrete Lifting lifts and supports concrete with high-density poly foam using a proven process that results in a permanent concrete repair.
How is polyurethane foam leveling better than mudjacking?
Polyurethane foam leveling is a more advanced method compared to traditional mudjacking. Here’s why:
✅ Stronger & More Durable – Poly foam is waterproof and doesn’t erode over time like the sand/cement mix used in mudjacking.
✅ Smaller Drill Holes – We only need to drill small, dime-sized holes, compared to the much larger holes used in mudjacking.
✅ Minimal Mess – Poly leveling is a minimally invasive concrete repair that doesn’t tear up your landscaping or disrupt your business operations.
✅ Faster Curing Time – Ready Immediately! – Foam cures in minutes, allowing you to use your concrete almost immediately! Mudjacking can take days to fully set.
To see a full comparison of poly leveling vs. mudjacking, check out our detailed breakdown here and discover why polyurethane foam is the superior choice for long-term concrete repair. 🚀
Why does concrete sink?
Concrete sinks for a few reasons:
- Soil erosion – Water washes away the dirt under your slab, creating empty spaces.
- Poor soil compaction – If the ground wasn’t properly compacted when the concrete was poured, it can settle unevenly over time.
- Heavy loads – Vehicles, equipment, or other weight can put pressure on the slab, causing it to shift.
How long does concrete leveling last?
Poly foam concrete leveling is a permanent fix when installed by professionals. The foam won’t shrink or break down over time, meaning your concrete stays level for years to come.
How much does concrete leveling cost?
Concrete lifting costs depend on the size of the project and the extent of sinking. However, it is 50-75% cheaper than full concrete replacement.
We provide free estimates—call us at 417-470-6506 to get an accurate quote for your project.
How long does the process take?
Our polyurethane concrete lifting process is fast and efficient. Most projects are completed within a few hours, and the treated surface is ready for use immediately.
Unlike traditional slabjacking or mudjacking, our poly leveling process minimizes downtime and disruption.
Will my landscaping be affected?
No! We use small drill holes (about the size of a dime), and there’s no heavy equipment tearing up your yard.
Should I replace my concrete instead?
No, not unless it’s severely cracked or crumbling. Concrete leveling is faster, cleaner, and much more affordable than replacing an entire slab. Plus, new concrete won’t match the existing slabs for years. Concrete leveling and lifting is the smart choice.
My concrete is uneven—what should I do next?
Call Elevated Concrete Lifting at 417-470-6506 for a free quote! We’ll inspect your concrete and give you the best solution to fix it.
What types of concrete surfaces can be lifted and leveled?
We provide concrete raising for a variety of surfaces, including:
- Driveways, sidewalks, and walkways
- Garage floors and patios
- Pool decks and steps
- Warehouse floors and commercial slabs
- Parking lots, sport courts, and municipal structures
- Pole barns, foundation slabs, and large industrial surfaces
If you have uneven, cracked, or sinking concrete, our team of concrete leveling experts can help.
Can concrete leveling fix cracked concrete?
Yes! Concrete leveling can lift and stabilize slabs that have developed cracks due to sinking. However, existing cracks may still need to be sealed after lifting to prevent future water infiltration.
If the concrete is badly damaged, our team will recommend the best concrete repair solution for your needs.
Will my concrete look different after leveling?
After poly leveling, your concrete will be even and stable, but the color of the patched drill holes may be slightly different from the existing slab.
Over time, these patches blend in with natural wear. This process is far less noticeable than the large holes and mess left by traditional mudjacking.
Can concrete lifting improve drainage issues?
Yes! If your driveway, patio, or sidewalk is sloping incorrectly, water can pool and cause erosion. Concrete lifting can:
✅ Restore proper drainage
✅ Prevent water from flowing toward your foundation
✅ Reduce basement leaks and moisture problems
For homes and businesses, proper concrete stabilization can help protect your property from water damage.
How do I schedule a free estimate for concrete repair?
It’s easy! Call us at 417-470-6506 to schedule a free, no-obligation consultation.
Our team will:
- Inspect the affected concrete
- Identify the cause of sinking
- Provide a detailed repair plan
- Offer an upfront price for our advanced polyurethane concrete leveling
